PADI Rescue Diver Course

The PADI Rescue Diver course is one of the most challenging and fun, but at the same time an excellent way to increase your confidence in the water and become a safer diver.

A main goal of the Rescue Diver qualification is to teach divers how to perform self-rescue as well as how to help others.

It's an essential step if you want to be a safe and self-reliant diver. The course will deepen your knowledge of rescue practices both in and out of the water by:

  • teaching you how to effectively conduct rescues and assist in diving accidents.
  • You'll also receive training on how to manage diving accident situations.
  • how to complete the often required documentation during and after a diving accident,
  • and will reinforce the CPR and first aid skills you learn in your Emergency First Response course.

The PADI Rescue Diver course is extremely rewarding but also very demanding. The intention of Amun Divers is to teach divers what to expect from a stressful rescue situation and to properly equip them to handle difficult scenarios in real life.

Despite its demanding nature, most divers who have completed the qualification say it is the best course they have ever taken. This course is an essential step in your development as a well-rounded and safe diver.*  **

*Emergency First Response Courses

One of the requirements for the rescue diver course is a current first aid and CPR certification.

If you don't have this training, don't worry. At Amun Divers we offer Emergency First Response courses that include CPR and First Aid and can be done in parallel with your Rescue Diver course.

**Participation in the EFR® Primary Care and Secondary Care courses within the last 24 months.
