Emergency First Response (EFR)

At Amun Divers we offer the Emergency First Response (EFR) course, which is super important if you like adventure sports. In this course you will learn how to save lives.

The course lasts just one day and prepares you to act correctly in emergencies – not only when diving, but anywhere, including at home or at work.

The EFR course is also a prerequisite if you want to take the PADI Rescue Diver course. We also recommend that you take the course together with the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course.

You can do the course either in the classroom at our dive center or on our dive boat. We will give you all the information you need.

What you will learn:

  • First aid and CPR (Primary Care): Here we show you what to do if someone is really in danger, e.g. if someone is not breathing or has no heartbeat. You will learn how to perform CPR and how to help until the emergency services arrive.

  • Secondary aid (first aid): Sometimes emergencies are not immediately life-threatening, or it takes a while for help to arrive. Here you will learn how to provide first aid to relieve pain and prevent further damage. We practice this with realistic exercises.

Go on:

If you take the EFR course with us, you will be well on your way to becoming a PADI Rescue Diver. It is a real challenge, but also one of the most rewarding training you can do. As a Rescue Diver, you can then help solve problems while diving.

*The course fee includes e-learning and the provision of an EFR e-card immediately after completion of the exercises on the same day.
